https://www.creativevillage.ne.jp/category/crv_event/165113/ ※Deadline: Thursday, October 23, 2025 8:30 PM Design is not simply about creating beautiful designs; it is widely used as a process and method for systematically constructing things to achieve objectives and goals. It also plays an important role in a variety of areas, including product appearance and functionality, advertising, and the usability of websites and apps. A basic knowledge of design is important not only for graphic and web designers, but also for video creators, directors, marketers, and anyone involved in any creative profession. In this seminar, Keiichi Masuda, who manages certification programs for graphic design, web design, and video production, produces teaching materials, and also teaches at a vocational school, will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the fundamentals of design. The theme of this seminar is “Decoration and Patterns from Around the World.” The 15th and 16th sessions will focus on
“Decoration from Around the World,” and “Patterns from Around the World,” respectively. Decorations and patterns from around the world encompass a wide variety of styles and techniques, deeply rooted in the history, religion, and environment of each culture and region. They reflect the aesthetic sense and values of each region and culture, and have developed alongside historical backgrounds and technological advances. They are not just aesthetic elements, but often also have social and religious significance. By learning about decorations and patterns, you can broaden your horizons and gain new ideas and hints for your own designs. If you’re interested, please join us.
