Hakosta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Representative Director: Matsumura), which organizes cosplay events throughout Japan, Yoshihiro) will be holding the cosplay event “acosta!” at Culttz Kawasaki in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

“acosta!” is an event where cosplayers and photographers can enjoy photo sessions and socializing. Held at 42 locations nationwide, primarily in Ikebukuro, it is one of Japan’s largest cosplay events, attracting over 250,000 attendees annually. 75% of participants are women, and 70% are in their teens and 20s, making it highly popular, especially among Generation Z. This will be the first time the event will be held at Culttz Kawasaki, a multi-purpose cultural facility normally used for concerts and sporting events. At the event, you can enjoy cosplay just like at the regular Acosta! events. As a special feature, we’ll be holding the “Autumn Sports Day,” where you can participate in cosplay for free. In addition to events like
“Dodgeball,” “Scavenger Hunt,” and “A Day in the Life of Daruma,” there will also be a physical fitness test. You can also take photos using balls in the “Ball Allowed Area” in the main gymnasium. Image
