(C) KADOKAWA/Photographer: Tsuyoshi Jindo Masashi Ikeda, who gained attention for his role as Jeremy Brascielli/Spider Monos in “Osama Sentai King Oger” and demonstrated his popularity and talent as an actor in his starring roles in the dramas “After the Rain” and “The Reason My Boyfriend Became My Sister’s Husband,” both of which aired in July, will have his first photo book released the day before his birthday. This work was shot primarily in George Town, Penang Island, a World Heritage Site in Malaysia. It’s packed with a variety of shots, from natural expressions of Ikeda traveling to a new place, to solid shots of her dressed in fashionable outfits, to emotional shots capturing Ikeda’s beautiful and fragile delicacy in historic buildings. The book also features a variety of expressions that can only be seen in a photo book, such as horseback riding, which was Ikeda’s personal request, and enjoying jet skiing on the beach. Tadashi Ikeda comment I’m pleased to announce the release of my first photo book. Along with the culture and scenery I encountered in places I visited for the first time, both my true self and a new self were engraved into my mind. I hope you’ll pick up a copy and feel the emotions as you turn the pages.
