They vividly portray the cries of the souls of people who survived a turbulent era, delivering a human drama that will resonate deeply with audiences. Synopsis Fly into the sky and say goodbye Four young men, longing for the blue sky, volunteered for the suicide squad. ── Brilliant Hajime, kindhearted Shoichi, his devoted younger brother Kazuyuki, and free-spirited Masaru. As the war intensifies, their encounters with refugees and the sick girl Mutsumi lead them to reexamine the meaning of life and the meaning of war. Following orders from their superiors, they write wills to their families and loved ones, but they are gradually overcome with fear and conflict. This masterpiece by the Third Quarter theater company re-enacts the story of this era on the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, with a prayer for peace. About the NPO Third Quarter Theatre Company Based in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, this local theater company performs plays, provides instruction in expression at educational institutions, and holds workshops to learn expression methods through theater.
