We will be holding a New Year’s Concert in Yamato. This concert will feature FORESTA, the popular mixed-gender chorus group featured on BS Nippon Television’s “BS Nippon Kokoro no Uta” (Songs of the Heart), which airs every Monday from 8pm. All members are music college graduates and have talented voices, performing a wide range of classic Japanese songs and tunes. This spectacular performance, perfect for the New Year, will allow you to experience the beautiful and rich spirit of Japan. Profile A mixed chorus group formed from BS Nippon Television’s “BS Nippon Kokoro no Uta” (broadcast every Monday from 8:00 PM). The group continues to work energetically to pass on Japan’s beautiful poetry and melodies, and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023. They have performed over 500 concerts across the country, attracting audiences of up to 100,000 people annually. Based on their other philosophy, “great songs transcend genre boundaries,” they sing a wide range of genres, from children’s songs, school songs, popular songs, oldies, to classical music. Their repertoire exceeds 2,000 songs, and while all members have studied classical music at music colleges and graduate schools, they pursue performance expression appropriate to each genre. Image
