Launched in 1995, the event celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. In order to inspire not only the beauty industry but society as a whole, submitted works other than the award-winning works are also being displayed on a special website. Winners will be honored at the awards ceremony at “Ultra Synergy,” a comprehensive creative event to be held at the Yoyogi National Stadium First Gymnasium on Tuesday, October 21st. After working at a famous salon in New York, in 2019 he helped launch a salon inside the long-established luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman with his wife Alexus and his partner. Many
celebrities, including actresses and models, are among his clients. He has also done hair for many magazines and collections. Kobayashi Mariko (Photographer) He started photography when he entered university, and continues to take photos while pursuing what he finds fun. He currently works as a freelancer, covering a wide range of areas, including magazine and advertising shoots, music video casting, and direction. Shinya Harada (SHIMA AOYAMA / AOYAMA PEAK General Director & Executive Stylist) He has been ranked number one in annual sales at SHIMA for three consecutive years, breaking both annual and monthly sales records. He has many VIP clients from Japan and abroad. In addition to salon work, his diverse activities include seminar lectures and judging, appearing in and photographing hair shows both in Japan and abroad. Asako Nanami (Photographer) He traveled alone to the United States to study photography. After returning to Japan, he worked for a beauty publishing company and is now a freelancer, shooting for beauty, fashion, celebrity, and other magazines and advertisements. At the same time, she works as a hair photo director, taking photographs for projects and as a consultant for developing creative directors for salons. She has received numerous awards. Yamamoto Satomi (LIMI feu Fashion Designer) After joining Yohji Yamamoto Co., Ltd., she presented at the Tokyo Collection in 2000. She proposed a strong-willed female image with clean, powerful straight lines and unique volumes that envelop the body. She first participated in the Paris Collection in 2007. Since then, she has presented in both Paris and Tokyo. Setsuda Sun (Psychological Illustrator) She played baseball for 17 years and was a member of a corporate baseball team. She retired from baseball at the age of 24 and became an independent illustrator, pursuing illustration, a hobby she had been pursuing since the age of 14. Based on her self-taught academic knowledge of psychology and other areas, she intentionally creates a style that strikes a chord with viewers, and is active mainly on social media. This exhibition will feature 38 works that were final nominated for the 2025 Arimino Photo Presentation. We hope that this exhibition will introduce the creative activities of hairdressers to people outside the beauty industry and increase their interest in beauty.
