HJ Co., Ltd. has announced the formation of the elementary school princess idol group “Hime Love,” featuring model and talent “Riripi,” who is immensely popular among elementary school students as the “elementary school princess gal.” In addition, the group’s first single, “100 Percent Daichukki,” will be released on various digital platforms starting Thursday, October 2, 2025. What is Hime Love? “Hime Love” is a princess idol group consisting of five elementary school students. Each member will be in charge of a “princess color” and aim to become a symbol of admiration for their generation. Background of Formation Auditions were held in August 2025, and 566 people from across the country applied. 320 people participated in the second audition, which was held in three cities: Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Riripi herself also participated in the audition, checking the results with her own eyes and selecting members she felt she wanted to work with. 35 people advanced to the final singing audition, where they performed at a recording studio in Tokyo. Five people, including Riripi, were ultimately selected as members of “Hime Love.” The audition was posted on the official YouTube channel. Why “Elementary School Students” Are Attracting Attention The birth of “Hime Love” symbolizes the accelerating popularity of “elementary school student culture” in recent years. With the spread of social media, elementary school students are increasingly entering the worlds of fashion and music and sharing their experiences with their peers.
