The talent-disseminating restaurant “Roll Sloth Shimokitazawa” is hosting a special event, “Moonlit Art Experience,” in collaboration with Roll Sloth and Pentel. It has now been decided that the event will also be held online. Related article: This event allows art enthusiasts, from beginners to advanced, to enjoy the seasons and art by drawing their own “moon” using Pentel’s popular art supplies. During the event, special workshops by professional artists will be held at the Roll Sloth Shimokitazawa store, and special lessons will also be held at NannyME, an online childcare and lesson service. Three specialists in charge The special lessons will be taught by three people: calligraphy artist MOGRA, starry sky guide Nikoeri, and NannyME’s most popular English conversation teacher, Keiko-sensei. Works created during or after the lessons can be entered into a contest for a chance to win great prizes.

At age 30, he quit his job and is now active as a calligraphy artist. He will hold solo exhibitions in Fukuoka and Aichi in September 2023, Osaka in October, and Tokyo in November 2025. He is also actively creating new calligraphy works based on the theme of “The charm of calligraphy, a part of Japanese culture.”

After graduation, she worked as an atelier instructor for children. She engages in creative activities, such as games, crafts, and painting, to teach the joy of creative activities to children from age one through third year of junior high school. A planetarium
enthusiast, she attends more than 100 projections a year, and has conveyed the charm of the stars to more than 5,000 people to date.

She is the most popular English conversation teacher at NannyME, and her lessons, which use songs, hand games, dance, and everyday objects, have earned her rave reviews for helping students “learn practical English!” She also holds a license to teach English at elementary schools (J-SHIINE). Moonlit Art Contest Overview The “Moonlit Art Experience” is a collaborative project between Roll Sloth and Pentel, and we are accepting submissions of art works with a moon theme. Anyone, from beginners to advanced artists, regardless of age or experience, can participate. [How to apply] 1. ↓ 2. Take an online lesson (one of three instructors will teach you how to draw the moon while introducing the latest Pentel products) ↓ 3. Draw your work (either online or later!) ↓ 4. Apply (take a photo and submit it via the application form) ↓ 5. Winning entries will be presented with the “NannyME Award,” “Pentel Award,” etc. Notes – Submitted work must be original. – Submitted works must be created using Pentel products. – You may submit multiple works, but please submit a photo of each work separately. – The application deadline is October 31st.
