(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoshi Kobayashi) is pleased to announce the digital release of the sixth digital single by eggman of murffin discs, the band behind SUPER BEAVER, sumika, and Macaroni Enpitsu, and Sakakinao, the inaugural grand prize winner of the “Catching Wave Audition 2024,” an audition aimed at discovering and nurturing the next generation of bands and global artists. This song will be released on Friday, October 17th through the joint label “Scrum Wave Music.” This song is the theme song for the short drama “Toge of Life and Death,” based on the original story and screenplay by Naoki Matayoshi. Nao Sakaki wrote the song based on the original story of “Toge of Life and Death.” “Life, Life, Life” is a work that conveys a powerful will, imbued with the belief that one should decide for oneself what will happen to one’s own life. “The Pass of Life and Death” is a period drama set in 1822, starring Junki Tozuka (playing a samurai) who has taken responsibility for a misconduct and resigned from his role, and the enigmatic Daisuke Kuroda (playing a ronin). The work reexamines the meaning of life and death.
