Radio Panic Drama “SYZYGY” The setting is a radio studio in Yurakucho. This radio panic drama revolves around the forbidden sci-fi epic “SYZYGY,” which has been sealed away because something always happens when it is broadcast! Antarctica’s unique theater groove and unique worldview have always attracted a lot of attention, such as in “Wow’s Fever,” which was performed at Shinjuku Theater Tops in March 2025, and “Yugai Chikyu Wonder Tour,” which was performed at Saitama Arts Theater in September 2025. Antarctica, one of the most dynamic young theater companies in the industry, has teamed up with Nippon Broadcasting System to produce a planned performance. The story is a sci-fi action drama set in a Yurakucho studio, revolving around the forbidden radio drama script “SYZYGY.” This time, the entire cast will consist of 10 members of Antarctica’s theater company. Additionally, on Saturday the 29th only, Shuhei Shimada, who appears on the Nippon Broadcasting System podcast “Shuhei Shimada and Occult-san!”, will make a guest appearance (voice only on other dates). This will create a new collaboration with the spectacular sci-fi worldview created by Antarctica. Tickets for this event will also be available for pre-sale (lottery) at the same time. It’s set in Imagine Studio, a space actually used for radio broadcasts (located in the basement of Nippon Broadcasting System’s Yurakucho Studio!), and we’ll be doing a play with a straightforward radio motif.
