You’re free to create your own patterns, and by folding and twisting, you can create unique designs. Tourism Fellow, Shibuya Ward Tourism Association A former Nadeshiko League women’s soccer player, after retiring and undergoing treatment, she changed her legal status to transgender man. Later, in Australia, she experienced a society where DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) is deeply rooted in everyday life, which triggered a major shift in her values. Currently, through Suitenippeki Co., Ltd., she gives lectures, training sessions, workshops, and supervision in a variety of settings, including companies, local governments, and schools. She aims to blur the invisible lines that separate people, and people from the world, and to open the door to a society where differences resonate with each other. ＜Message from Yuuki Oshima＞ The indigo blue of indigo dyeing is not a single color; it contains many different shades of blue. I believe that people, like everyone else, create landscapes together, each with their own unique differences. In this workshop, I hope you’ll use your hands to discover your own unique blue and enjoy the feeling of resonating with others in this space.
