ABEMA, the new television of the future, is pleased to announce that it will broadcast the 2025-26 Daido Life SV.LEAGUE, which begins in October 2025, on ABEMA de JSPORTS, where you can watch J SPORTS content. This season, a total of 88 men’s and women’s matches will be broadcast live for free. Two matches per round will be broadcast for free, and one match per month will be broadcast live for free with original commentary by “ABEMA.” Highlights of all matches will also be streamed for free. ABEMA is planning to provide original commentary for the opening matches of the men’s and women’s leagues. Details will be announced at a later date. ABEMA de J SPORTS will broadcast live coverage of key matches for free, starting with the opening match of the 2025-26 SV.LEAGUE. The men’s season will kick off on Friday, October 24th with a match between the Osaka Bulleteon and Suntory Sunbirds Osaka. Osaka B’s Yuji Nishida and Suntory’s Ai Takahashi will be playing in a highly anticipated matchup between two Japanese national team players. The following match, on Sunday, October 26th, will also be broadcast live: the Wolfdogs Nagoya vs. Hiroshima Thunders. The women’s season will kick off on Friday, October 10th with a match between the Osaka Marvelous and Victorina Himeji. Then, on Sunday, October 12th, the NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki will face off against the SAGA Hisamitsu Springs. NEC Kawasaki’s Yoshino Sato will lead the team as a key player, while SAGA Hisamitsu’s powerful lineup includes Ayaka Araki, Ayane Kitamado, Megumi Fukasawa, Yanami Nishimura, and Aki Momii. “ABEMA” will broadcast the “2025-26 Daido Life SV.LEAGUE,” featuring top Japanese players and global stars, live for free on “ABEMA de J SPORTS.” Starting with the opening match, which will feature a lineup of notable matches, we will be

Participation requires an “SV License,” and only clubs that meet strict standards, including athletics, facilities, finances, legal affairs, and personnel systems, are allowed to compete. The league boasts a diverse lineup of international players, including Japan national team members who excelled at the Paris Olympics. As a new league with a view to becoming fully professional, it also plays a major role in
strengthening the Japanese national team and promoting the sport. The 2025-26 season will see the participation of 10 men’s clubs and 14 women’s clubs.
