Even after finishing making one, we face each piece with renewed enthusiasm. We want people from all over the country to “see, touch, and taste” the charm of the sweets and miscellaneous goods born from “1/1 manufacturing,” not just on the day of the festival! We also want to contribute to the sales of welfare facilities! And by increasing sales opportunities, we hope to reduce “mottainai” (waste)! By doing so, we can further expand the circulation and connections of goods, which is a win-win-win for everyone: those who provide support, those who work at welfare facilities, and ourselves! With this in mind, we decided to start a crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE and seek backers. *The crowdfunding page on CAMFIRE is here Total 58 pages! The entire Tonttu Festival Marche Yearbook can be viewedhere.

What is the Tontu Festival? Organized by the NPO Decent Work Lab. Aiming to realize decent work (rewarding and humane work) for all, we are an organization that works with many
professionals to create “roles” and “jobs” for people with
disabilities, who in particular do not have a sufficient decent work environment. Through our activities to date, we have realized that there is still a large gap between society and those in the field who have close ties with people with disabilities. Therefore, in 2021, we launched the “Tontu Festival,” an event filled with surprises to help people get to know each other. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the event.

It would be great if society could become like the Tontus, where everyone respects each other’s roles. With this in mind, we named the festival the “Tontus Festival.” Our motto is “Everyone is different, but we’re the same.” How your donation will be used Your donations will be used as follows: • Purchasing products from welfare businesses • Crowdfunding fees, shipping, and other necessary expenses • Planning and operation costs for building a sustainable festival We want the Tonttu Festival to be more than a one-time event; it’s a place where everyone can meet once a year. We hope that in 10 years, the idea that “we’re all different, but we’re the same” will be widespread throughout society. With this future in mind, we will carefully manage the funds we receive so that we can continue holding the event.
