Tokyo Press release: October 3, 2025 “TOKYO Enjoy!” 2026 Tokyo Senior Community Exchange Tournament (Go, Shogi, Healthy Mahjong, Karaoke, Dance Sports, and eSports) Participants Wanted!! With the aim of realizing an active, long-lived society where people can remain true to themselves, Tokyo will host the “TOKYO Joy!” 2026 Tokyo Senior Community Exchange Conference for seniors aged 60 and over. The tournament will feature events popular as hobbies among the senior generation, and starting this year, we’ll be adding “e-sports,” which can lead to new lifestyles and connections, to support healthy and fulfilling lives. On the day of the tournament, we’ll invite “Enjoy Supporters (special guests)” to each event to help liven up the tournament. We’ll also have Nenrinpic events and an e-sports experience corner open to everyone. In addition, the top prize winners in the four events of this tournament, excluding karaoke and e-sports, will be eligible for selection to represent Tokyo at the “Nenrinpik Saitama 2026” (limited number of participants).
