The waterfront area in central Yokohama, symbolizing the port city of Yokohama and boasting one of the most captivating landscapes in Japan, is home to a concentration of attractive resources, including bustling facilities like the Red Brick Warehouse, roads, parks, and other public spaces. As part of our efforts to collaborate with surrounding facilities on events and utilize public spaces to create excitement, Yamashita Park Street will once again be turned into a vehicle-free pedestrian zone on October 11th as the “World Festa Yokohama 2025 Pedestrian Zone Area.” The event will be packed with a variety of activities, including live music and performances, a local food and beverage market, and mobility test drives. A new relaxation area will also be set up where you can unwind.
