J-WAVE A BIG WELCOME TO Oasis! Radio station J-WAVE (81.3FM) will be running a limited-time campaign, “J-WAVE ~A BIG WELCOME TO Oasis!,” to commemorate Oasis’ Japan tour (media partner: J-WAVE), from Monday, October 6, 2025 to Sunday, October 26, 2025. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of rock’s masterpiece, “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?”, and it’s also a memorable anniversary, with Oasis coming to Japan for the first time in 16 years. J-WAVE will do everything in its power to make 2025 a special year for Oasis and music lovers around the world. [Campaign Overview] ■ Oasis on the air every day for 21 days! During the period, Oasis songs will be aired every day. Based on a theme set for each program, we will share the appeal of Oasis while incorporating requests and stories from listeners. In addition, an original jingle has been created to promote Oasis’ Japan visit. This will be used in conjunction with the airing of the song to further build excitement for the Oasis anniversary. Oasis featured on various programs! 】 During the campaign period, Oasis will be featured on various J-WAVE programs! We’ll be bringing you classic songs that defined the era and the band’s history, along with talks from our popular hosts. ■ “J-WAVE TOKYO MORNING RADIO” (Navigator: Tetsuya Bessho) Airing period: October 20th (Monday) – October 23rd (Thursday) Oasis will be featured over four days on RECONNECTING TO MUSIC (7:45-7:50). ■”STEP ONE” (Navigators: Sasha, Moena Neuhaus) Airing Period: October 6th (Monday) – October 9th (Thursday) Sasha and Moena Neuhaus, both members of the Oasis generation, will air one or two songs each day while sharing memories and stories related to Oasis. They’ll also feature requests from listeners. In addition, a special feature on them will be featured in the “MUSIC 1” section the week leading up to their visit to Japan (the week of October 20th). ■ “MIDDAY LOUNGE” (Hosts: Monday Harry Sugiyama / Tuesday Saya Ichikawa / Wednesday Chris Peppler / Thursday John Kabira) Airing period: October 6th (Monday) – October 9th (Thursday) In honor of Oasis’ visit to Japan, the “MORI BUILDING TOKYO FINDS” (14:30-14:40) segment will introduce spots in Tokyo where you can enjoy rock music and a taste of UK culture. Additionally, “MUSIC EXPLORER” (14:00-14:15), which delves into the “why” of the music scene, will feature BRIT POP, including Oasis, for two days on October 6th (Monday) and October 9th (Thursday). ■ “GURU GURU!” (Navigator: Kagaya) Air date: Monday, October 6th On this day, Kagaya will be the navigator duo. Kaga Sho’s partner, Kaya Soya, will share his emotional experiences from the Oasis reunion tour, “Oasis Live ’25,” in Manchester. ■ “THE PLAYBACK” (Navigator: Yamada Kento) Air date: October 10th (Friday) Here are the top three Oasis albums chosen by filmmaker Yamada Kento. ■ “WEEKEND VIBES” (Navigator: DJ TARO) Air date: Sunday, October 12th Music sharing featuring UK songs, including Oasis, under the title “ALL OUT UK”! ■ “ALL GOOD FRIDAY” (Hosts: LiLiCo, Tomo Inaba) Air date: Friday, October 17th Broadcast live from the Maru Building Maru Cube in Marunouchi, Tokyo. “Let’s all sing that Oasis song from Maru Building during our lunch break!” was held. ■ “RADIO DONUTS” (Navigators: Yu Watanabe, Rena Yamada) Air date: Saturday, October 18th Three lucky winners will receive movie tickets to see the film “Liam Gallagher: Live at Knebworth 2022” (released October 17th), which features footage of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher’s solo outdoor concert at Knebworth Park in 2022.
