This five-headed dragon, which appears only in Ejima Engi, has been specially illustrated by Shinji Nishikawa, the monster designer for the Heisei Godzilla series. The five-headed dragon that appears in the Ejima Engi picture scroll is a five-headed dragon with five heads, a dragon never before seen in the world. Suddenly, monsters appeared in the waters around Enoshima in Shonan. Large-scale chaos engulfed tourists and local residents, and the area around Enoshima in Shonan became a special alert zone. The monsters’ appearance also drastically changed the ecosystem of Sagami Bay… And finally, the monsters landed on Enoshima. The Enosawa Monster Research Institute Special Investigation Unit (E.K.S.U.) began investigating the situation, but communication was cut off. ~The final message left by the research team~ “This is not a temporary phenomenon; some great force must be at work…” The Enosawa Aquarium Monster Research Institute collects and studies creatures with characteristics similar to those of the monsters, hoping to find clues to unravel the mystery. At the same time, they decide to recruit new members for the research team to reclaim the peace of the Shonan Enoshima area.
