Makita Sports Walks Through Hidden Famous Bars in “Robinson Tavern Drifting” In this gourmet drifting documentary, Makita Sports gets drunk and searches on foot for “Robinson Tavern,” which appears in a mysterious location far from any train station and makes you wonder, “Why is it in a place like this!?” The setting for the 10 PM broadcast on Saturday, October 4th is Kamiooka Station on the Keikyu Main Line. From there, Makita Sports heads to Shigure, about a 25-minute walk from the station. Along the way, a steep slope awaited us. Makita blurted out, “Robinson Mountain Climbing Bar.” By the time we reached the top of the hill, our throats were parched. Inside the bar, we could see a wide variety of homemade sours. We met up with Okumori Satsuki at the restaurant and toasted with shochu, matcha green tea, and a red shiso pickled plum sour. This is a teppanyaki restaurant where customers cook their own food. The first dish we ordered was grilled Camembert cheese fondue on a teppan. Camembert cheese is placed in the center, and once it melts, it’s mixed with the surrounding sausages and Inca’s Awakening. There’s also a takoyaki hotplate on the table. Hot, freshly made takoyaki is absolutely delicious. Other dishes available include shrimp teppanyaki, green chili okonomiyaki, and beef sukiyaki udon. Makita describes this restaurant as “the best teppanyaki restaurant I’ve ever been to.” It’s a wonderful restaurant, not only for the taste but also for the atmosphere created by the mother and daughter who support the restaurant and their customers.
