She was a finalist at the Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition, one of the world’s three major piano competitions, held in Brussels, Belgium, in May of this year. Although she narrowly missed out on a top prize, the audience knew she was talented enough to win, or even take home the prize. The charismatic pianist who won enthusiastic support from audiences and the competition’s “other winner” has suddenly decided to visit Japan for the first time!
