Anniversary OJAGA DESIGN Leather Item Collection OJAGA DESIGN is a made-in-Japan handmade leather brand that handles everything from leather dyeing and cutting to hand-stitching in its workshop in Tachikawa, Tokyo. To commemorate the 85th anniversary of the popular animated series “Tom and Jerry,” which has been loved worldwide since its creation in the United States in 1940, OJAGA DESIGN is introducing new, carefully crafted leather items featuring the characters of Tom and Jerry with the colorful leather and warm texture of hand stitching that are unique to the brand. Four characters—Tom and Jerry, the cute little mouse who always wears diapers, Tuffy, and the cute,
raspy-voiced duckling, Quacker—are each featured on three types of leather key chains (key rings). The “full-body” keychains are large, measuring 13cm for Tom and 5.5cm for the smallest Taffy (leather part only). The world of Tom and Jerry is expressed through attention to detail, such as using different leather depending on the body part. Like the “full-body” type, the smiling “face” type keychain has a striking finish due to the thickness of the layered leather, and is also recommended for use as a bag charm. The “Square” keycap features a square-cut face, as if the character is peering out of a small window. Square-face keycaps offer a different appeal from “Face” keychains, with their simple, easy-to-use shape and colorful key handles. OJAGA DESIGN’s specially crafted leather items become more comfortable and develop a richer texture the more you use them. These handcrafted products also make a great gift for someone special.
