Graduated from the Kunitachi College of Music with honors and won the Yatabe Award. After serving as concertmaster of the Shinsei Nippon Symphony Orchestra, he has served as solo concertmaster of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra since 2001 (currently principal solo
concertmaster), and as special guest concertmaster of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra since 2020 (currently solo concertmaster). He also demonstrates his unique brilliance in various units, including the YAMATO String Quartet, and boasts a wide repertoire, performing with orchestras and recitals across the country. He continues to challenge himself as a musician, taking on unprecedented challenges, such as the “Yasuhisa Ishida Special Night of Passion” at Musashino Kawasaki and a sold-out performance by Ishida Gumi at Nippon Budokan. His latest album, “Ishida Gumi 10th Anniversary 2024 Spring,” was released by Universal in April 2024. He plays a 1690 G. Tononi and a 1726 M. Goffriller.

He composes a wide range of genres, including orchestral, chamber, wind, and vocal music, and has performed with orchestras both in Japan and abroad. He composes and arranges for instrumentalists and vocalists, and is highly acclaimed as a collaborative pianist. His diverse activities include hosting “Untitled Concert,” “Masterpiece Recital,” and “LaLaLa♪Classic,” and appearing on numerous television and radio programs. He is also actively involved in lecture concerts that convey the appeal of classical music from a composer’s perspective, as well as
collaborative projects that transcend genres. He is currently on a nationwide tour with violinist Chisa Takashima as part of the duo “Chisa&Mino,” titled “Chisako Takashima & Mino Kabasawa ~A Joyful Concert~” (April-July 2025).
