Hime’s work, with its vibrant colors and unique line drawings, reinterprets the freedom of 1980s culture and the energy of pop icons in a modern way. While evoking a sense of nostalgia, it also effortlessly expresses the strength and grace of women living today. This event will feature eight original portraits of women wearing “BUCKET” hats. From 2004 to 2007, he studied at Kyoto Seika University’s Manga Department, Story Manga Course. In 2008, he began working as a photographer while working in the fashion industry. After moving to the United States in 2013, he photographed
international brands. After returning to Japan, he moved to Tokyo and worked as a photographer in the fashion industry, photographing various domestic and international fashion brands. In 2019, he began working as a freelance digital illustrator. He works on a variety of designs, including apparel prints, music jackets, and posters for live performances and pop-ups. At the end of 2020, he created an acrylic canvas piece and exhibited it for the first time at Art Fair Kyoto. She began working full-time as a contemporary artist in 2021.
