It has been decided that all performances of the reading play “The Bottled Sea Sang Ryuzutan’s Dream in Her Bedroom 2025,” which will be performed at Hulic Hall Tokyo from Saturday, October 25th to Sunday, October 26th, 2025, will be livestreamed. This work is an original piece by Takuma Suehara, head of the Obonro Theater Company. It was first performed as a main production by the Obonro Theater Company in 2021, then revived in August 2022. It was also published as a book by Kodansha, and will be newly developed as a reading play starting in 2023. Tickets for both the premiere and the revival sold out immediately. With each performance, the audience’s emotional reactions grew louder, and this year, the play will finally be performed at the Hulic Hall Tokyo, its largest venue yet. The cast will continue to feature Takuya Sato, Kotaro Nishiyama, and Hiro Shimono, who appeared in previous performances. Additionally, a stellar cast has been announced, including Wataru Takagi, Daiki Yamashita, Takuma Nagatsuka, Yu Hatanaka, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Moeka Koizumi, and Sumire Morohoshi. Following the performance, there will also be an after-talk with the cast and scriptwriter and director Takuma Suehara. The after-talk will also be available to watch online. The merchandise lineup for this performance has also been announced! In addition to merchandise featuring original illustrations by Takuma Suehara, a long-awaited gift has been granted: a pamphlet and visual card set featuring character visuals by the all-star cast will also be on sale.
