Haruka Igawa, Yuka Itaya The program “Sanrio SMILEY” airs every Monday through Thursday from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM on radio station J-WAVE (81.3FM). “SMILE” (Host: Itaya Yuka). The guest for the week of October 20th will be a conversation between actress Itaya Yuka and Igawa Haruka. This program is set in “Smile,” a coffee shop lit only at night. Every week, two guests visit this space, where they can escape their busy daily lives and relax, deepening their understanding and friendship through music. The host of this show is Yuka Itaya. This 30-minute program features guests in conversation with each other every Monday through Thursday for four days. This episode’s guest is Haruka Igawa, a leading actor. The show also includes
behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of “tokyo.sora” (released in 2002), which marked his first encounter with Yuka Itaya, the host of this show. Looking back on the time when he attempted improvisation without a script, he described the set as “like a documentary,” and spoke of the tension he felt early on in his career and his sincere commitment to expression. In addition, the talk will cover
behind-the-scenes stories from the films “Hiraba no Tsuki” and “Miharashi Sedai,” in which Igawa stars, as well as the “adult romance” and “family structures” he tackled with actors of his generation. At the same time, they also candidly discussed their real daily lives and their feelings as actresses, including balancing work and child-rearing, and words of support from senior actresses who helped them through turning points in their lives.
