AEON Fantasy Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Tokuya Fujiwara; Location: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; hereinafter, “the Company”) is supporting dreams through its social contribution initiative, “Lala Yume ~Lala-chan will help you achieve your dreams!~.” As part of this initiative, the Company will help realize the dream of Mikoto (13 years old), a resident of Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture: “I want to hold a concert to share the charm of traditional Japanese musical instruments.” With the cooperation of AEON Mall Kawaguchi, a “Japanese Musical Instrument Concert” will be held at AEON Mall Kawaguchi on Sunday, November 23, 2025, featuring Mikoto performing with the professional Japanese musical instrument quartet “Saitamatic.” A dream collaboration with a professional Japanese instrument quartet from the same Saitama prefecture. “Lala Yume” is a project that invites creative dreams from across Japan and supports their realization. This year, in its 22nd year, we will help 10 people realize their dreams from among the 1,048 applications received from across the country. One of the recipients is Mikoto, a second-year junior high school student living in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture. Mikoto applied with the dream of holding a concert, saying, “Since production of Japanese musical instruments is declining and there are fewer Japanese instrument players, I want to convey the appeal of Japanese
instruments.” To support Mikoto’s dream, Saitamamatic, a professional Japanese musical instrument quartet based in Saitama Prefecture, will be supporting this concert. After several months of professional instruction and practice, Mikoto will perform her dream collaboration with Saitamamatic on the shinobue flute, a instrument she has practiced hard on. On the day, we will perform famous pieces from the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras on Japanese instruments, as well as introduce each instrument, providing a program that will allow everyone, from young children to adults, to experience the charm of Japanese instruments. “Lala Yume Japanese Instrument Concert” Event Details

Since becoming captivated by traditional Japanese instruments during elementary school classes, she has been self-studying on the shinobue flute, a gift from her father. Taking advantage of this opportunity, she will receive in-depth instruction from professional musicians and perform in a concert. Hoping to draw more people’s interest to the instrument, she also plans to perform pop music. Her dream for the future is to become an elementary school music teacher.
