PICORE Press release: October 20, 2025 To Members of the Press “Daily Cinema” is a vertical film format that tells one story over the course of a month. The first installment, “Earthlings in Love” (director: Shinichiro Ueda), will be released on November 25th! The series consists of 30 episodes, with one episode released for free every day. PICORE Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Nobuhiro Suzuki) will begin offering a new video format, “Daily Cinema,” from November 25, 2025. “Daily Cinema” is a “continuous streaming video content” service that posts a single, connected vertical video work every day for a set period of time. Each episode is released simultaneously on social media platforms such as TikTok, X, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts at a set time each day. Despite their short length, these works offer a high level of satisfaction and a cinematic aftertaste. Today, we announced the production of
“Earthlings in Love,” a new work that will be streamed for 30 consecutive days as the first installment of “Daily Cinema.” Image

In an attempt to get his classmate Mai’s cell phone number, Shinpei blurts out, “I’m making a movie, and I want her to play the heroine.” This inadvertently sets his first filmmaking project in motion. The film is directed and written by Shinpei, the heroine is Mai, the lead is played by senior member of the drama club, the camera is handled by the nerdy Novel, the assistant director is the delinquent Kazuki, and the music is by the transfer student Elise – a very unique cast. The film they are making is titled “Earthling in Love.” It is a story about a high school boy who falls in love with a transfer student, but she is actually an alien sent to invade Earth. Shinpei gradually becomes absorbed in making the film. However, one day he witnesses the moment when Mai’s face turns into a skeleton… ■Production: PICORE Corporation, KDDI Corporation

Until now, the longest one I’ve made was three episodes long, less than 10 minutes long, but this time I’m going all out…30 episodes in total! While I was racking my brains over what kind of work I should create, I had the opportunity to return to my parents’ home. At that moment, I happened to pick up a diary from my student days and reread it, which sparked the idea for this project. This may be the most
autobiographical work I’ve directed to date. If I say any more, I’ll give away spoilers, so I’ll stop here… Each episode will be 1-3 minutes long, with one episode released daily for one month. This is a story that moves towards a goal you could never have imagined when you first started watching. Please look forward to it. Features of “Daily Cinema” 1. All episodes are available to the public for free. There is no charge to watch “Daily Cinema.” One new episode is released every day at a set time. As a general rule, released works will not be made private and can be rewatched anytime, anywhere. 2. “You’ll want to know what happens next!” High-quality story and visuals The video production will be carried out by staff with a track record in theatrical films and TV dramas. Furthermore, the content will be optimized for viewing on smartphones. With our well-equipped team, we strive to create short works that are satisfying like movies. 3. Excellent for corporate collaborations You can insert the logo of a sponsoring company or brand or a short text message at the end of each episode. Furthermore, by featuring products and locations as part of the story, product placement branding can also be achieved. This is a new approach that allows viewers to come into contact with the brand every day in their daily lives, like a daily calendar. It is possible to turn brand exposure from a “single advertisement” into a “daily content experience.” As a result, you can expect to create a positive impression of the entire work in which the brand is involved, which is called brand lift. PICORE will continue to challenge itself to create works in new formats, in addition to feature films. [Contact for this matter] PICORE Inc.
