(Headquarters: Tokyo; President and CEO: Kitajima Yoshinari; hereinafter referred to as DNP) on November 13, 2025, on its premises in Ichigaya, Tokyo. This studio combines high-resolution, high-speed motion capture and virtual production equipment with generative AI for efficiency and expression-expanding technology to enable new forms of visual expression. It also provides one-stop solutions to common challenges faced by the video production industry, such as cost, deadlines, and labor shortages.

【Background and Objectives】 As demand for XR and 3D video expands in a variety of fields, including advertising, music, games, and live streaming, production sites are facing major challenges, including a lack of locations and personnel, and filming delays due to weather risks. To address these challenges, DNP has opened the DNP XR STUDIO, integrating AI, XR, dedicated equipment, and a dedicated production and technical team, creating a new video production environment that combines high efficiency with expressive power. Activ8’s mission is to “increase the choices we make in the world we live in.” The company has promoted the creation of next-generation entertainment, including the production of its own IP, including the world’s first virtual YouTuber Kizuna AI, as well as the virtualization of character IP developed by client companies. By partnering with DNP XR STUDIO, we will further expand our connections with the XR and video industries. It is equipped with industry-standard motion capture (Vicon), an LED wall, and a green screen. It also supports real-time compositing using Unreal Engine and Unity, allowing you to check the finished footage on-site while shooting. 2. Production Support with Generative AI Generative AI is used to streamline background generation and rendering. It allows for flexible adaptation to changes to characters and lighting, even after filming. We support the entire process from planning to finishing. 3. Support from Dedicated Staff With producers and technical staff on-site, even companies producing XR video for the first time can use the service with peace of mind. 4.
