Yuki’s photo exhibition, “Emerging, Floating Between the Circles,” will be held from Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

● Artist’s Comment At some point, I became aware of invisible “gaps.” Between myself and others, parents and children, photographs and “something.” I feel like there are gaps in every place in the world that cannot be put into words. Emotions, thoughts, and sometimes even hopes and prayers float about there. I began to want to express this uncertain existence through photography. This exhibition is a record of a journey in pursuit of various gaps. The overall composition is based on the theme of “life and death are one,” and evokes the idea that life and death are not separate, but flow as a single cycle. Each photograph is a fragment that appears in a different gap, embodying the invisible. I particularly focused on the moments when chance and necessity overlap. At those moments, I feel a mysterious power in the photograph, like a chemical reaction taking place. 【Profile】 Yuki Hirotani Born in 1987 in Osaka Prefecture. His diverse activities include collaborations with camera manufacturers, magazine
appearances, photography instruction, and solo exhibitions. In his original projects, he expresses his unique interpretation of the “in-between” moment, where chance and necessity intersect.
