Currently, more than half of the facilities have served as executive committee members since the project’s inception. The Policy Division of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, which carried out the advance relocation to Kyoto in fiscal year 2017, has been participating in this initiative as an observer since fiscal year 2018 as part of the Agency’s efforts to “unearth local culture” in the wake of the relocation to Kyoto.
