He made his debut in the 2010 film “BLEAK NIGHT: The Guardian.” He won the Best Newcomer award at the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Blue Dragon Film Awards for his outstanding performance as Song Mong-gyu, the cousin of the protagonist Yun Dong-ju and an independence activist, garnering attention as a unique actor. He has since appeared in numerous films and dramas, including Netflix’s “Hell is Calling” (2021) and “Harbin” (2024), demonstrating his talent in both leading and supporting roles. Aside from his acting career, he founded the publishing company “MUZE” and published “Making the Most of It” (by Park So-young). He is bringing a breath of fresh air to the Korean publishing industry through his work on books and audiobooks. She has won the 5th, 8th, and 11th Young Writers Awards, the 8th Heo Gyun Literary Writers Award, the 24th Kim Jun-seong Literary Award, the 51st Hankook Ilbo Literary Award for “Harmless to Me,” and the 29th Daesan Literary Award for “Bright Night.” Her works translated into Japanese include the short story collections “Shoko’s Smile” (Kuon) and “A Person Harmless to Me” (Aki Shobo), the novel “Bright Night” (Aki Shobo), and the collections of short stories “You Don’t Have to Try So Hard” (scheduled for publication on November 5, 2025, Hayakawa Publishing) and “Even a Faint Light” (scheduled for publication on November 12, 2025, Chikuma Shobo), and she is the co-author of “To Hyunnam Oppa” (Hakusuisha).
