collaboration with companies and related organizations to develop and implement training programs that include practical experience in international settings, enabling students to acquire the skills necessary for international success and entering the workforce. This program aims to provide consistent and powerful support to students who aspire to become young creators of the next generation. We are recruiting film students to participate in a filmmaking workshop at an overseas film school. Program contents We will be holding a short-term filmmaking workshop at the Griffith University Film School in Brisbane, Australia. The workshop will cover the entire filmmaking process, from the roles of each member of the filmmaking staff, to scriptwriting, camera and lighting, budget and schedule planning, shooting, editing, and screening, all in a two-week experience. Click here for a sample program content Recruitment Requirements 【Training Period】Scheduled for February 28th (Sat) – March 13th (Fri), 2026 (approximately 2 weeks) *Subject to change 【Number of Participants】Approximately 10 participants 【Participation Fee】 Expenses to be covered by the secretariat: -Training
participation fee -Round-trip travel expenses to the site (generally from the nearest airport in Japan to Brisbane, Australia. Economy class), local accommodation, etc. *Arranged by the secretariat -Daily allowance *Any expenses other than those listed above (such as overseas travel insurance) are at the participant’s own expense. *The cost of obtaining a passport required for travel is at the
participant’s own expense. You will also need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter Australia, and you will need to pay a system fee of 20 Australian dollars (approximately 2,000 yen) to use the app (payment by credit card or Apple Pay).
[Eligibility] – Students currently enrolled in a Japanese university or vocational school studying film or video production who aspire to work in filmmaking in the future. – Japanese nationals or permanent residents of Japan. – People who can actively communicate in English (Interpreters will be provided for lectures, but due to the limited number of participants and limited lecture time, preference will be given to those who are comfortable communicating in English).
