Winner of the International Biology Olympiad at the age of 16. After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he earned a Master’s degree in Biotechnology at the same university’s graduate school. In 2006, he joined Nomura Securities and worked in M&A advisory services. In 2012, he founded Ladybird Capital. He currently appears in various media outlets and is an active writer. While studying for entrance exams, he opened the entrance exam information bulletin board “Milk Cafe.” While still a student, he became the CEO of Media Clip, which operates the rental bulletin board “Shitaraba JBBS.” The system was later sold to Livedoor. After joining Recruit as a new graduate, he started his own business and released the how-to site “nanapi,” which was acquired by KDDI in 2014.
