Parkour athlete Hikari Izumi (TOKIO Inkarami) competed in the 1st AGU Parkour Asian Championships, held in Amman, Jordan from October 17th to 20th, 2025, winning both the freestyle and speed divisions. She became the first Japanese to win two titles. Izumi’s comments about the tournament are as follows:

I headed to Jordan, the host country, the day after the Japan Championships, and was worried about my condition, but I am relieved that I was able to complete the competition without any injuries. Parkour is still in its infancy as a sport, so I am extremely honored to have achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Japanese person to win two titles. I usually approach
competitions with the focus on maximizing my own performance rather than the results, but I am very happy to have achieved such an accomplishment in my last competition in my twenties, and it was a great way to end my career.
