The first part of the “Utage” series will feature “Izutsu Kakeriiri,” a representative work of “Mugen Noh.” The second part, part of the “Utage” series, will feature a complete change from the beautiful banquet of autumn leaves to a battle with a demon woman, “Momijigari Onizoro.” A pre-performance lecture will also be held on Saturday, November 15th. Shite actor Naotaka Kakuto of the Kanze School Umewaka-kai will provide a simple explanation of the worldview of “Mugen Noh” and the relationship between “Sake Banquet” and Noh. This class is free for those who have purchased tickets for the 136th Kawasaki City Regular Noh performance, and 500 yen for everyone else.
