Press release: October 24, 2025 To Members of the Press An innovative development that transcends the boundaries of food, fashion, and art – KOGEI Next 2025 will be held at five venues this year! ～ ～Exhibitions at Art Collaboration Kyoto and CURATION⇄FAIR Kyoto, and at Gallery KANEGAE～ KANEGAE (Gallery: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture), an art dealer based in Kyoto, and Crosstech Management Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture / CEO: Makoto Kitamura), which nurtures IoT creators and supports startup businesses, are holding an innovative exhibition that transcends the boundaries of food, fashion, and art and utilizes the blessings of life, for a limited time from Monday, November 10th to Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, in conjunction with Kyoto Art Month, as part of “KOGEI Next,” a movement to realize the next form of crafts. The project will be held at five venues in Kyoto, including exhibits at “Art Collaboration Kyoto” and “CURATION⇄FAIR Kyoto,” “KOGEI Next Exhibition 2025” at Gallery KANEGAE, a collaboration with T.T. titled “What are materials today -T.T,” and a food and art collaboration at ristorante DONO titled “What are materials today -ristorante DONO-.”

【Concept Statement for “What Are Materials Today”?】 Miyama, Kyoto A quiet village surrounded by beautiful mountains The people who live there, the animals that live deep in the mountains That boundary is now being shaken Deer are being exterminated while trying to protect the lifestyle of satoyama Many issues surrounding wildlife damage, various views of justice Feeling this conflict, we accompanied the hunt The meat of the culled deer is sold as game meat, but Skin and bones are difficult to process and have been discarded. What would happen if various industries came together to tackle this problem? Beyond the boundaries of food, fashion, and art. Use up the blessings of life We create works from 1 to 10 with our own hands Not 0 to 10 0 to 1 are materials created by nature and society. We identify these and transform them into artworks. Through repeated questioning and answering, we deepen our expression.
