On Saturday, November 29, 2025, CBC TV in Nagoya will be hosting the ghost story event “Meikyōya 2 ~Nagoya’s Scary Night~.” “Meikyouya” is not just a ghost story event; it’s a new, experiential ghost story event, with the theme of “developing your sixth sense.” The atmosphere and senses of the venue are sharpened, and the audience themselves become “those who sense the fear.” This second event will feature, following on from the previous one, popular ghost story YouTuber “Nana Fushigi” (Oakami Nov, Yoshida Taketake), the gal psychic Iizuka Yui who is a hot topic on TV and social media, Yasu, the grandson of a yuta born into a family of Okinawan psychic mediums, and the king of the ghost story world, Yoma Yutaka. In addition, Nagoya-based storyteller Ichiya Yoshito will be participating for the first time. The popular segment, “Block Ghost Stories,” will focus more on “sound” than last time, stimulating the sense of hearing and tapping into the sixth sense. The power of the storyteller’s ghost story, the perspective of those with psychic powers, and the audience’s own senses will all intertwine to create an evening of “true horror” that cannot be put into words.
