Grand Front Osaka (Ofukacho, Kita-ku, Osaka) will be holding the Christmas event “GRAND WISH CHRISTMAS 2025” (hereinafter referred to as “this event”) from Thursday, November 6th to Thursday, December 25th. This event, now in its 13th year, is based on the concept of “A Christmas where the wishes of all visitors to Grand Front Osaka come true.” As the main attraction, the
aurora-themed Christmas tree “Winter Prism Tree” will be displayed in the Knowledge Plaza on the first floor of the North Building. Furthermore, Osaka native Anne Mika will be the guest at the lighting ceremony on the opening day, marking a spectacular opening. This Year’s Key Points 1. The main Christmas tree, the “Winter Prism Tree,” with an aurora motif, will be here! (North Building, 1F Knowledge Plaza) A lighting ceremony featuring guest artist Mika Anne will also be held on the first day! 2. Co-hosted with Gran Green Osaka! “Miffy” decorates Umekita at “miffy Christmas in UMEKITA” 3. Approximately 500 Santa Clauses will appear! “Grand Santa Parade in UMEKITA” will be held on December 23rd (Tuesday) 4. “Champagne Gold Illumination in UMEKITA” with a record number of approximately 480,000 bulbs The “miffy Christmas in UMEKITA” collaboration project with Miffy will also be held in collaboration with Gran Green Osaka. The event will feature content that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, including photo spots and stamp rallies that can be experienced throughout the Umekita area. Additionally, a variety of winter programs will be held in collaboration with Gran Green Osaka, including the “Grand Santa Parade in UMEKITA,” where approximately 500 Santa Clauses will distribute gifts and participate in cleanup activities, and the “Champagne Gold Illumination in UMEKITA,” featuring a record-breaking 480,000 light bulbs.

【Illumination Photo Spot】 A record-breaking illumination display featuring approximately 480,000 bulbs shining in champagne gold “Champagne Gold Illumination in UMEKITA” Since the opening of Grand Front Osaka in 2013, the champagne gold illuminations have been a beloved winter feature in Umekita. Last year (2024), with the early opening of Grand Green Osaka, the illuminations were expanded to both blocks, creating a unified display through area collaboration. This year marks the first time the event has been held since the opening of Gran Green Osaka South Building and Umekita Green Place, and the illumination area has been significantly expanded from last year. The illumination area has been expanded to include the ginkgo trees lining the roadside along Osaka Station North Route 2, which runs north and south between Grand Front Osaka and Gran Green Osaka. The decorative LED lights have been scaled up to a record high of approximately 480,000 bulbs, enveloping the entire Umekita area in champagne gold light on a larger scale than ever before, providing visitors with an even more gorgeous and elegant winter landscape. The electricity used for this illumination is derived from substantially renewable energy sources that comply with “RE100″*1 (excluding some areas), and energy-saving LED bulbs are used, ensuring sustainable illumination.
