“Rie High School Festival 2025” is an event held by Takahashi Rie’s official members club, “Takaha Private Rie High School” (hereinafter “Rie High”). This year’s event was held in collaboration with SCRAP and featured a live performance by Rie High School’s principal (Takahashi Rie, hereinafter “Principal Rie”). This release reports on the afternoon session. [Afternoon Session] As the lights came on on the stage, Principal Rie appeared to thunderous applause. She then loudly proclaimed the holding of Rie High School Festival 2025. “Good morning, students of Takaha Private Rie High School! My name is Principal Takahashi Rie. Today is Rie High School’s cultural festival, Rie High Festival 2025, so I hope everyone will work together to create and enjoy the cultural festival. Thank you for your support!” Then, a figure claiming to be the vice principal appeared on stage and explained that during the afternoon session, the students would solve quizzes and puzzles while checking out the performances of each club at the school festival. During the session, it was announced that after listening to the students’ heartfelt thoughts about Rie High School, a “Rie High School Student Statement” would be presented by a student selected from the audience by Principal Rie. Aoyama, a member of the cultural festival executive committee, also appeared and announced that the cultural festival would conclude with his speech. However, it turned out that his speech had not yet been finalized. The vice principal instructed Aoyama to patrol the cultural festival and think about the content of his speech. The afternoon session began, and Principal Rie first visited the Quiz Club. The Quiz Club posed eight puzzle questions, and Principal Rie and the students worked together to solve them all. The answers to each question were related to Principal Rie, and when they came up with answers like “ghost” and “teasing,” the audience erupted in applause. Afterwards, the dance club tried their hand at a gesture game. Principal Rie and the students took turns as questioners, and the group completed the steps smoothly, thanks to each member coming up with easy-to-understand gestures. For the cheerleading squad’s performance that followed, Principal Rie acted as acting cheerleader, directing the students. Slides were projected in time with the students’ waves, and Principal Rie solved the mystery by matching the images and words on the slides. In the drama club’s performance, students played a game in which they had to guess the lines Principal Rie spoke in various situations. The students successfully completed this game by identifying the difference between “I love you” and “It’s crazy” as Principal Rie acted out each of the five situations. Principal Rie successfully completes her patrol of all clubs, but it turns out that Aoyama, who was scheduled to give his final statement, has suddenly suffered stomach pain and left early. At the strong request of the dance club and students, Principal Rie reads Aoyama’s statement on his behalf, and begins to unravel his message using the notes he left behind. Principal Rie deduces that the answer lies in the performances she’s seen so far. But what does Aoyama believe…? “I used to be shy, but the love that Rie High School overflowed with changed me. The friends I made at Rie High are a lifelong treasure. I love Rie High!!!” Principal Rie, who sincerely recited Aoyama’s thoughts, told the students before the live performance that she wanted them to realize through today’s event that solving mysteries is fun. She then made the following statement to the students: “I’d be so happy if you continue to support Rie High and the puzzle-solving genre! Thank you!” [Afternoon Live Performance] The live performance that followed began with a performance of “Fan Service” (by moca, voiced by Natsukawa Shiina), which ranked second in a pre-performance survey of songs people wanted to hear sung. The interjections of the chorus, which they had practiced beforehand, clicked perfectly, raising the excitement of both Principal Rie and the students. In the midst of this heated atmosphere, Principal Rie powerfully sang her second song, “Kaze” (by Ueto Aya), a song that she says has resonated with her even more as an adult. The final song of the live performance was “Happiness for Tomorrow, Me” (Nanawo Akari), which was voted number one in the aforementioned survey. Principal Rie could not hide her joy at the song’s selection, saying, “I’ve always wanted to sing it!” From the start, the students excited the crowd with their penlights and synchronized shouts, and Principal Rie responded with a choreographed rendition.

As an artist, I’d be extremely happy if I could be a part of your daily life cycle, connecting you with people who continue to love anime, visit events, comment on social media, and engage with entertainment. If you ever need a little extra color in your daily life, I hope you’ll remember that I’m doing something fun… I look forward to seeing you again sometime!” Looking back, the collaboration with SCRAP, which marked a new challenge for Rie High School, ended with a grand finale, with Principal Rie and the students alike enjoying solving the mystery to the fullest, including the murder mystery edition in the evening session. In addition to the three songs performed in the afternoon session, the evening session also saw the students sing songs by artist Rie Takahashi, including “Konkyorete Don’t Have to Be Ii Janai,” “Hitotsugai Magnetic,” and “Kameleon Syndrome.” It was also announced that she will be holding her second solo concert. Keep an eye on Principal Rie, who continues to show more and more color. Bonus In the evening session, Principal Rie attempts to uncover the truth in a murder mystery edition of the SCRAP collaboration project. Image
