ABLUR Manga artist Masashi Sano and original author Chaser Arai have teamed up to create a new series, “Company Shuumaku: Your Final Wish, We’ll Take Revenge on Your Behalf” (Comic C’mour). This work was produced using “ABUR.” ABUR is a background production tool that streamlines repetitive and time-consuming background production, allowing artists to focus on their creative work. By linking with the 3D background material platform “ACON,” you can utilize a vast array of materials to create high-quality backgrounds in a short amount of time. ■ Serving as a development supporter for the first phase of Ablers (Summer 2025)

For approximately one month, participating creators used Abler in accordance with weekly missions and shared feedback on feature improvements with the development team. This project aimed to directly reflect feedback from the field and create a more user-friendly tool. One of the participating members, Masashi Sano, has recently begun working with original author Chaser Arai on a new series, “Shuumaku Co., Ltd. – Your Final Wish, We’ll Carry Out Revenge on Your Behalf,” which is now officially being serialized on Comic Seymour. ■ Work information

This suspenseful story begins when Kyosuke (the protagonist) stumbles upon a mysterious website called “Shuumaku Note” at the end of his despair. Abler is helping us create the story every day. ■ Comment from Mr. Masusei Sano I’ve always felt uncomfortable drawing backgrounds by hand, and I’ve often used 3D and other materials. However, since I discovered Abler, my manga background options have expanded! Using Abler, I can include a variety of locations in my manga. It’s a monthly series with around 30 pages per episode, and so far I’ve been doing all of the background work myself! environment where creators can draw more freely and enjoyably through experiences that turn “I can’t draw” into “I can draw.” We hope to continue to ensure that manga artists never have to stop or struggle with background work.
