In addition to master classes, we offer a variety of learning opportunities, including special courses on chamber music and special practice sessions where you can perform with a teacher. ・Scholarships for studying music in France Through our partnership with the École Normale de Musique de Paris, we offer scholarships for outstanding students (up to three) to study music in France. Eligible applicants will be exempt from admission fees and tuition fees (for one year). Kyoto French Music Academy Student Comments (Excerpts from the 34th Survey) ・The teacher’s lessons were very detailed, precise, and easy to understand. I felt they were revolutionary, allowing me to immediately feel improvement. I feel that they have become a very valuable asset. The students were all of a high level, and I was constantly inspired while listening to the lectures. At the concert, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of French music and the teachers’ amazing musical sense and technique. ・It was a very valuable and fulfilling time, receiving direct instruction from a professor from overseas and being able to attend classes freely regardless of instrument. My horizons have broadened in terms of performance, and I hope to use what I learned to further hone my own music. ・The teachers were wonderful, not only in their performances but also in their personalities. The interpreter worked hard in every lesson, and I learned so much from attending various lessons. I’m really glad I participated! ・I’m grateful to have been fortunate enough to attend this academy, which attracts students from all over the country. I was able to receive dedicated lessons directly from a teacher I’ve admired since hearing his concert. Also, when I auditioned other classes, I found that famous teachers were also present. It was a truly valuable two weeks of concentrating on music and learning in a luxurious space. The interpreters and staff at the office were very kind and helped ease my anxiety. – I learned a lot because the techniques and musical flow were explained in an easy-to-understand way. They also included French characteristics and culture, which made learning very enjoyable. I would definitely like to take the course again next year.
