Kyoto Night Market Project LLC Press Release: October 30, 2025 “An Autumn Night Connected by Fortune Telling” The 6th Kyoto Night Market will be held on Thursday, November 7th. ~The night market is returning to Otosu Square! The much talked about “Fortune KON Night” lights up autumn Kyoto for new encounters~ “Kyoto at night is the real Kyoto.” Kyoto Night Market (organized by Kyoto Night Market Project LLC), which brings culture and people together in the Kyoto nightlife, will hold its sixth Kyoto Night Market on Thursday, November 7, 2025, at Otosusan Square in front of Higashi Honganji Temple. This year, we’re hosting a special
fortune-telling-themed event, “Urakon Night.” Based on the concept of “a relaxed encounter that begins with fortune-telling,” we’ll create an evening filled with the atmosphere of autumn Kyoto. A special event held in October in front of Kyoto City Hall attracted a record 12,000 visitors. With a cumulative total of over 57,000 visitors, Kyoto Night Market continues to grow as an event symbolizing Kyoto’s nightlife culture. For the sixth event, the night market will finally return to its home ground, Otosu-san Square, and we expect it to be even more lively.
