Viva Rush has announced a tie-up with “If I Don’t Rehabilitate the Garbage Idol, I’ll Die,” a manga currently being serialized on the manga app “GANMA!”. In addition, they have also decided to collaborate with a TV anime scheduled to air next spring, accelerating their momentum as they approach their 10th anniversary in 2026. Viva Rush, who will celebrate their 10th anniversary in June 2026, announced a three-month series of digital releases in a press conference-style teaser video released ahead of the event. The first of these will be the official image song for the comic, “Meramera☆Okini,” which will be released digitally on Monday, December 1st. This collaboration came about because vocalist Ruimaru is an avid reader of the series. She loves her idol so much that her possessiveness and jealousy run wild while she tries to justify herself. She affirms herself by saying, “I’m the one who understands him best,” while her possessiveness tells her she won’t let anyone else have him, and then her jealousy explodes into flames. Everything swirls together, turning love into madness and supporting one’s idols into a battlefield, depicting the “love and madness of troublesome otaku.” In addition, an “extremely exciting” announcement is scheduled for June 23, 2026, the 10th anniversary.
