Unlike the usual Akaenpitsu, this is the first time we’ve released a special band arrangement featuring a backing band. In addition to the songs of vocalist “Oh-chan” played by Osamu Shitara and guitarist “Hi-ton” played by Yuki Himura, the show is also popular for its bizarre dialogue. They first appeared at Bananaman’s solo concert “Geki Milk” in 2001, and have since appeared at almost every Bananaman solo concert. Their distinctively
straightforward lyrics and unconventional songs have been highly praised by the music industry and artists, and they have received songwriting support from Naotaro Moriyama, Tortoise Matsumoto, and Gen Hoshino. The two-day “Akaenpitsu at Budokan” concert held in February 2024 sold out in one day, including standing room only. They also appeared on the “FNS Music Festival” (Fuji TV) at the end of the same year.
