The “Kodansha Moving Picture Book MOVE” series is extremely popular among children and has sold over 5.7 million copies in total. From December 1, 2023, we will be holding a manga contest with the theme of “living things” sponsored by the MOVE editorial department. The total prize money is 200,000 yen, and those who win or above will receive the right to be featured in MOVE’s fair booklet!
We are looking for manga that will make children excited and say, “Living things are interesting!”
You can apply with a full-color 1 page, and you can also apply with a partial name other than a color manuscript. Gags, romantic comedies, battles, 4-panel comics, etc…any genre is fine as long as it’s 4 pages or less. We are looking for free works with the theme of “living things,” such as creatures you like or stories about creatures that make you think “wow!” in your daily life.
