In July 2023, the Sea and Japan Project in Shimane will hold an original event in Ama Town and Nishinoshima Town on the Oki Islands in Shimane Prefecture to learn about shellfish and seaweed special to Oki, and will be held for 24 fifth and sixth grade elementary school students from within and outside the prefecture.
