Kenta Hosoya
Born in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture in 1993. After graduating from Gunma Prefectural Maebashi Technical High School, he worked for a general company before joining Open House Development Co., Ltd., a member of our group, at the age of 21. While working as a site supervisor in a construction department, he developed Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy, a designated incurable disease. After taking a one-year leave of absence, he returned to work and is currently busy with construction planning work, using audio computers and magnifying devices.

Rugby sevens is a parasport that requires the presence of five or more visually impaired people. Basically, the rules are similar to rugby, but tackling is prohibited and a try is scored before being touched six times by the opponent.
