A special event will be held at the NHK Culture Sendai Classroom where you can watch the “2023 SENDAI Pageant of Light” from special seats. ……
During the Page of Lights period, we will hold concerts and talk shows by instructors from the NHK Culture Sendai Classroom.
You can spend a heartwarming and blissful time surrounded by beautiful illuminations that decorate the rows of zelkova trees.

It has been decided that a special project will be held at the NHK Cultural Center Sendai Classroom in conjunction with the winter tradition “SENDAI Pageant of Light” held in the forest capital of Sendai.
The Pageant of Lights is now in its 38th year and is loved by many people.This year, with the theme of “Glitter of Gratitude,” approximately 500,000 LED lights will light up 129 zelkova trees along Jozenji-dori.
The Hashimoto Building, where the Sendai classroom is located, is located along the street, and the inside of the classroom is brightly lit with beautiful illuminations that decorate the rows of zelkova trees. You can enjoy a variety of events such as alcohol, music, and Pilates in a venue surrounded by a fantastic atmosphere.
Please come and visit this heartwarming and blissful space created during the Christmas season.
