“Africa Japan Night 2023” is a rare friendship charity event in Japan where multiple African ambassadors and diplomats gather together to talk about the future of Japan and Africa and achieve prosperity! 40% of the world’s population in 2050 will be in Africa. This event depicting Japan as a leader in Africa and Asia will be held as a pre-party for the UN International Africa Day friendship event to be held on May 25th next year.

In 2050, Africa will account for 40% of the world’s population, Asia will account for 40%, and Africa and Asia will account for 80% of the world’s population. On the other hand, for Japanese people who are active as leaders in Asia and the world, Africa seems like a distant country. We will hold the charity event “Africa Japan Night 2023”, which is an opportunity to connect African countries and the Japanese business community. This is a pre-party for a charity event scheduled for next year’s International Africa Day (5/25), and is a great opportunity for African stakeholders in Tokyo to interact with those who wish for the co-prosperity of Japan and Africa. As you all feel, Japan’s interest in Africa cannot be said to be as great as its interest in Western countries. However, it is important and essential for mutual growth to have an interest in Africa, which is growing at a tremendous rate, and to deepen exchanges. We hope that this party will be an opportunity for you to get to know each other and become an opportunity for interaction.
