An “amateur tournament limited to people over 40 years old” that started as a new innovation for K-1 amateurs.
The venue will be Korakuen Hall, a sacred place for martial arts, and all matches will be held in a one-match format. The event began with an entrance ceremony for the contestants, followed by interviews with the winners and other performances that would rival any professional tournament.
There was also an S class for those with professional experience, and approximately 80 athletes engaged in heated competition in the Korakuen ring.
