◆What is Chu4 Cancer Professional? – Training of cancer specialist medical professionals who can respond to the diverse new needs that arise as the situation surrounding cancer medical care changes With the increase in the number of cancer patients and advances in treatment, measures for geriatric medicine, genomic medicine, rare cancers, and childhood/AYA cancers have become new important issues, and the level of treatment is high even in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. There is a need to train medical professionals who can understand these issues and provide appropriate medical care. Furthermore, in order to practice the holistic medical care that cancer patients seek, it is important to provide multidisciplinary education in which each person has advanced skills and knowledge and works together as a team to provide cancer treatment. . In this project, we will build a wide-area collaborative organization involving 11 universities in Chugoku and Shikoku to develop
outstanding cancer specialist medical personnel who can respond to the above challenges.
